- Mini-Proposal:
- Describe what you want to design and the context (who, where, when, why & how). Include (a) a sentence about your team’s personal connection to this context, (b) the sustainability element, and (c) a project code-name. <100 words.
- Work Plan:
- Project Management Practice - Make a table of action items, deliverables, start & completion dates, & who will have primary responsibility for driving & delivering. The header action items should include each of the design thinking components in our process; list specific tasks as sub-items.
Example:
We love playing games. And we are committed to sustainability lifestyles. Our team will design a sustainability gamification teaching & research laboratory in XYZ at Stanford University for students interested in learning & developing product designs that emphasize UX-motivated playability in sustainability human-behavior & human-mindset change. Our team is interested in applying positive psychology with AI machine learning & personal sensor technologies to design frameworks & solutions for clinical & real-world applications in education, healthcare & community well-being, among others. This is PROJECT PINBALL WIZARD.
Example:
Start | End | Action Item | Deliverable | Assign |
7/22 | 7/24 | Empathy: Observe activity in XYZ | DJ Note | CO |
7/22 | 7/24 | Empathy: Sketch XYZ | DJ Note | GK |

We are all Stanford students, and we’re all committed to sustainable mental health choices. Wellness shouldn’t be a place where you go to feel well, it should be everywhere, like air.
Our team will design a third-space where students will be able to feel well, relaxed, recover energy and reduce the probability of mental health diseases.
This project will be designed as a plug-in space that can be installed in every major building on campus to give all students access to pleasant spaces anytime they need.
We’re interested in applying a wide range of solutions, from materials to resources through technologies and behaviours. This is BURN BRIGHT program.
