Description
The design was meant to be a simple and easily buildable research station for the student researchers. On the eastern end of my design there is a bathroom and storage room. The bathroom provides ample space for someone in a wheelchair to turn around and the storage room provides enough space to store whatever is needed. The rest of the research station is open, with the desks for the researchers being on the southern wall. Each desk has a window to provide ample sunlight for the researchers. The lab bench and sink being on the western wall, and the meeting area being situated in the open space. The roof has solar panels to produce solar energy and is an example for sustainable design principles.
