Description
I made a model of my grandpa’s cabin in Campbell River, on Vancouver Island. We’ve visited since I was a little kid, and I have always been in awe of how tall the trees are and how possible the world feels in his house of a lifetime of collected treasures. The first floor has a study, a living room, a flex space, a kitchen, a guest bedroom and a bathroom. The second floor has bedrooms and bathrooms. It has a classing simple roof structure and is nestled on a plot of land in a forest. The stairs are central. The house flows nicely, and windows bring light into the space.
