Wall & Roof Surfaces:

  • The roof has a distinctive star-shaped design, creating multiple angled surfaces that enhance structural stability and aesthetic appeal.

Openings & Glazed Surfaces:

  • Windows & Curtain Walls:
    • The building incorporates floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls across its entire facade.
    • Double-glass windows are used throughout to enhance thermal performance and reduce energy consumption.
  • Doors:
    • All entryways feature double-glass doors, maintaining consistency with the insulated glazing strategy.

Shading & Sun Control Features:

  • The glass curtain walls and window distribution were chosen based on passive solar design, optimizing heat gain and loss across different orientations.

Building Envelope & Energy Efficiency Features:

  • Walls & Glazing: Adjusted to 80% glass and 20% wall, optimizing daylight while reducing excessive heat gain/loss.
  • Shading: Added external shades that cover 1/3 of the window height, reducing glare and improving thermal comfort.
  • Glazing: Implemented double-glass windows and doors throughout for enhanced insulation.
