Module 8- Collaborative Modeling

The addition, remodel, and design change that I have made to the building is one that added 6 columns, removed 1 wall, and modified 2 elements. Overall, the changes resulted in an extension to the already flat roof several feet to the right of the building. This created an overhang that acts as canopy for the space below and increased roof space above. In doing this, two new spaces were created. The underneath patio space and extra roof space that acts as increased deck room will allow for greater community gathering spaces and opportunities to be outside. Looking at the design as a whole with this change, the overarching symmetry is lost but a sense of focus and awe is created instead.
