POV: Tourists at Stanford
The ideal tourist at Stanford would like to find the buses on campus, because they want a more compelling touring experience around Stanford
Minimal Viable Product
Our space is a sustainable bus station for the marguerite buses around Stanford campus.
- Attract and prompt tourists to choose a more sustainable mean of travel to move around campus, in this case the bus, through ways such as:
- Creating noticeable signs on all four sides of the bus station, so people can know from a distance which station it is.
- A large digital display that indicates which location the bus will take them too, allowing them to understand the campus better.
- Create a chance for other people (such as students) to travel around the campus more efficiently, by including:
- Electric shared bikes that can be parked at any bus station, so then students will have a chance to use a bike without renting or purchasing one.
- This is helpful for students staying for a certain session, such as Summer Session students, as they may not want to invest too much in a transportation tool.
