Give examples of how the building information for a specific location in the project needs to be filtered for different audiences and purposes?
I would say the lighting system may be filtered for different audiences. For example, an engineer who is building the lighting system and connecting the wires to work with how energy is transferred. They may want a much more specific building information. However, a client may just want the visual of how that lights would look aesthetically.
Name some applications where viewing the building and model information in virtual reality or augmented reality would be most beneficial?
If your trying to create an experience architectural experience, in which the user is supposed to feel something and think in a different way based offf of the architecture that you present them with. Then, using virtual reality may be an effective medium to try and emphathize with how a normal person would interact with the building and be influenced by it.
How can schedule views be used to assist with procurement and model-based estimating?
Schedule views allow us to get an itemized view of different objects within a scene. Therefore, it can even give us cost estimations of specific objects such as walls and thus help builders make better decisions on how to proritize the certain amount of materials that they use for a building.
