Module 9 - Points to Ponder

Can you guarantee that the completed building will match the performance predicted by the analysis in its day-to-day operations?

The completed building will most likely not satisfy the predicted performance because we are basing the performance on averages and constant variables, which is not true in human construction.

What level of detail should be included in a 4D simulation?

The elements that are most important are those that make up the largest area of the building. For example, placing the tub in the second floor bathroom is not as important as placing the foundation slab.

How can the feedback shown in a 4D simulation help you to optimize the project schedule?

The simulation provides visual connection between elements and help point out missing elements as well.
