My HVAC system uses a 6 square feet rooftop air handler. The vertical ducts supplying air run through a mechanical shaft through all floors. The main ducts which are 42X12 inches run through the hallway. From the main ducts, smaller 16X12 ducts branch out to the rest of the building. My terminals are located next to windows/walls where possible since these are usually the hottest part of the building. I used flex ducts to connect the terminals. I also used radius elbows wherever possible to improve efficiency.

My zones are split up by the cardinal direction they face. For example, spaces that face southern walls are grouped together. This is because northern spaces most likely won’t have as big of a demand as southern ones. I also grouped all the inner rooms together like bathrooms and the elevator shaft, since these don’t have windows that let in heat. All spaces besides elevator shafts and storage rooms are heated and cooled. The zone service type is split systems with natural ventilation.
