Create a posting that includes:
- The screenshot of an interior view of your merged model from the Model Coordination tools showing the plumbing elements.
- You’ll probably need to select and hide the Partition element from the architectural model to see your plumbing fixtures.
- A few lines describing any challenges you encountered and how you overcame them.
- I thought this exercise was quite simple (perhaps the simplest so far!). I appreciated that the mirror plane was already included, as well as the plumbing fixtures, risers, and branch pipes. I was able to simply use the automatic connect-into tool to join the fixtures to the branch pipes without issue.
- My most significant challenge was that, once I had connected all the fixtures on one side, I was unable to copy the branch pipes over as single pieces since they were now segmented and divided with pipe fittings. To keep things simple, I undid the connections, mirrored the branch pipes, and then reattached everything.
- The only other challenge was that Revit crashed while I was working on the exercise and wiped my progress just before I was done. Fortunately, this exercise is really quick once you know what to do!
