Please share your design showing the features of the proposed building envelope, including the locations and characteristics of:
- the wall and roof surfaces
- the openings/glazed surfaces
- windows and/or curtain walls
- doors
- skylights
- any shading or sun control features
The special structure of this building created shadings in open spaces:

By doing so, less heat would be transferred into the building and thus save the air conditioning energy.
Besides that, sun shades for curtain walls were implemented to provide shades under strong sunlight.

The majority of the exterior walls were “Bricks on Mtl. Stud”. This kind of wall has a thermal resistance of more than 54 h* ft^2 F/BTU, and 0.0185 BTU/h/ft^2/F. So, this material have a relatively nice thermal isolation property.

One potential concern of this current design is the lack of sunlight inside the building. Next week, a through daylight analysis should be done to improve this model.
