• Very concerned about the impact of the large amount of waste produced on the ocean and oceanic environments
• Every time she is in surgery she uses hundreds of dollars worth of equipment and many of the tools are disposed of
• Find that though needs are one of the largest sources of waste they are most likely not safe to reuse in any circumstance
• Wants patients to feel comfortable with their care and wants her patients to feel good about the effects of their care
