I have implemented a rather conservative design overall. In this project, I utilized 10x33 steel columns in conjunction with 12x26 beams and 8x10 beam systems. My focus was on selecting a grid that seamlessly aligned with the building's layout. I made an effort to avoid placing my columns in the hallways to prevent obstructing pedestrian traffic. Instead, I positioned them within the rooms. To optimize the available space for the HVAC system and plumbing, I strategically concealed the beams within the floor. This not only ensures efficient utilization of space but also guarantees that the overall architectural design remains undisturbed. The uniform placement of columns and beams contributes a cohesive element to the entire structure. My objective is to construct a durable building with minimal maintenance needs in the long term.

Special structural challenges:

In my design, I've incorporated open space, and I believe there's no necessity to install columns or beams in that area. Arranging the grids proved to be a time-consuming task for me, as I deliberated on the placement for each floor due to the distinct layouts on each level. It becomes necessary to insert additional columns to provide support for specific levels.
