Tommy significantly prefers fresh food over preserved food but he doesn’t care about whether his food is organic or genetically modified.
Tommy used to plant tomatoes in his garden, but he stopped because he believes it is too much of a hassle and the work being put into it doesn’t justify the low amount of produce. Also, he thinks he was growing food on a small scale which was inefficient.
The main obstacle stopping him from growing his own food is the low amount of food produced, the large amount of space needed, and the inconvenience of home farming. He would be interested in farming his own food if the process take less space and time and generate more reward.
