Creating Stairs, Shafts, Core Walls, and Access Doors
Prompt | Tool Options
🟢 = Autodesk Asst
🔵 = Revit MCP
🟣 = Python + Dynamo |
Recommend two locations for multi-story stairs from L1 to L3 in this building.
Create a Python script, based on your recommendation, to generate these two stairs. Also include the shaft opening. Enclose the shaft with fireproof walls, and add doorways to access the stair shaft. | 🟣 |
Note: This prompt required several rounds of debugging (reporting the errors reported by Dynamo to Claude) and iterating to create the error-free Python script. It takes patience, but persist! Claude is very good at diagnosing and fixing its coding errors.
