Splitting a Wall
Use the Split Wall tool to divide an existing wall into separate segments.
- Select Split Wall from the toolbar.
- Click a wall at the location where you want to create the split.
The wall will be divided at the selected point, allowing you to modify each segment independently.
Trimming or Extending a Wall
Trimming to a Line
The Trim Line tool extends one wall until it meets another wall.
- Select the Trim/Extend tool.
- Then, select the Trim Line tool from the contextual toolbar that appears.
- First, click the wall you want to extend to.
- Then, click the wall that should be extended.
To extend multiple walls to the same reference wall, hold Shift while performing the operation.
Trim to a Corner
The Trim Corner tool trims two intersecting walls so they form a clean corner.
- Select the Trim/Extend tool.
- Then, select the Trim Corner tool from the contextual toolbar that appears.
- Click the two walls.
Both walls will be trimmed to create a clean corner connection.
Aligning One Wall with Another
Use the Align tool to align one wall with another.
- Select the Align tool.
- First, click the wall you want to align to (the reference wall).
- Then, click the wall that should move into alignment with it.
The second wall will shift to align with the reference wall.
