The Building View Palette
The Building View palette lists:
- Individual floor levels
- Floor Groups — identical floor levels that share the same Floor Plan
The Building View palette highlights the floor or floor group that you are working on in blue in the thumbnail.
When multiple floors are highlighted, it indicates that they are identical and are considered a Floor Group. if make changes to a Floor Group, these design changes will occur on all of these identical floors.
Choosing the Floor Group or Individual Floor to Work On
To choose the Floor Group or individual Floor to work on:
- Option 1: Click a Floor Group or individual floor in the thumbnail view.
- Option 2: Select a Floor Group or individual floor from the Floor Plan palette.
Renaming, Duplicating, or Deleting a Floor
To rename, duplicate, or delete a floor:
- Click the menu button to the right of the specific floor name in the list.
- Choose an option to:
- Rename the floor
- Duplicate the floor
- Delete the floor
