Description
This extension features open space that can be used for a multitude of group uses, encouraging interaction and student ownership of the space. The entire design relies on an open floor plan, and furniture to allow the space to be diverse. Additionally, the 3rd floor has an additional open patio, for indoor outdoor workspace. The extension hosts only a few individual meeting rooms, appreciating all the private rooms in the original building. Finally, this extension hosts an outdoor patio that extends from the cafe area, so students can take advantage of both the outdoor air and indoor areas.
