Module 6 Submission

My new workspace functions as an open campus: there are two buildings which create a negative space: a central plaza. The buildings themselves follow simple geometric shapes, reflective a children's building blocks; I wanted these buildings to be playful. In addition to the regular office space, we have many "steps" which can be outdoor spaces that office workers can collaborate in, relax, and share a meal. A central archway creates an entrance into the plaza and a circular focal point provides a meeting space, reception area, and a conference area. Because the buildings are relatively narrow, circulation out of the building will be easy and office workers will have adequate access to sunlight.
