Description
My design is a 25’ x 20’ rectangular building that optimizes the space available with the given constraints and requirements. As you enter the main door on the East side of the building, there is a storage closet on the right hand side, and a meeting room with a table, four chairs, and a white board on the left hand side. As you continue to walk down the lobby, you will reach the researcher workspace with three work stations. Once you make a left turn, you will see the 8’ long lab bench and a small sink. Next to the bench is the ADA-compliant bathroom, with handle-bar built next to the toilet to assist with those in need. There are plenty of windows in the south-facing direction, which provides natural lighting into the workspace and the meeting room. The roof is designed to implement solar panels in the future.
