My name is Anna, I’m a first year masters student in Sustainable Design & Construction under CEE. I studied Energy Systems Engineering in undergrad at the University of Toronto. My interest lies in sustainable buildings, specifically focusing on energy efficiency and indoor air quality. In undergrad I did my thesis on inter-zonal airflow in residential buildings and how it impacts energy use and contaminant transfer. I’ve also had internship experiences in air quality testing and structural engineering. I’m interested in this course because BIM is a very important tool in supporting sustainable building design. My goal is to gain experience working with BIM and feel comfortable using it in personal projects.
