My name is Damien Crowley. I’m a sophomore studying civil engineering focusing on Environmental Fluids Mechanics & Hydrology and Energy/Climate. This past summer I was a process engineering intern at QuantumScape, a solid-state battery developer/manufacturer, since I was previously ChemE. I have 3 summers of research/industry experience in coastal eng and sustainable materials for soil stabilization and erosion control (some geotech eng). I’m interested in renewables infrastructure and sustainable planning, with a focus on coastal and offshore environments, but believe that being skilled in BIM/Revit and structural engineering is important for succeeding in the field.
