Hi everyone! My name is Mason, and I’m a Civil Engineering and Urban Studies dual-degree with focuses in Climate & Energy and Global Urban Culture & History. After graduation, I want to work in the urban design / urban planning space. So far, I’ve worked in geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, mechanical design, and expert witness / PM services. During my structural internship, I primarily worked in Revit and AutoCAD Architecture, so I’m excited to dive back into the world of Revit. During the course, I’m hoping to build on my experience while also honing my design skills. Aside from my degrees, I play polo for the Stanford Polo Club, serve as secretary for Stanford ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), and am a peer advisor for Urban Studies. I have also been doing research on car culture for the last three years, focusing on how cars mediate both social equalization and reproduce hierarchies of human value.
