Design memo of 300 to 500 words: what you read in the site, the three strategies, what the analysis said, your recommendation, and the surprise.
First, I designed a building with the goal of optimizing window area for the residential floors. I did this by creating two separate residential stacks on top of the first commercial floor.
Next, I wanted to design a building with green roofs and terraces. I did this by reducing the square footage of higher residential floors as they went up to create room for green roof terraces on the roofs of floor 1, 3, and 5.
