Design memo of 300 to 400 words: what survived the handoff, what you rebuilt, what assembly choices you made and why, and where Revit and Forma disagreed.

This assignment has been the most challenging one I have completed so far. It involved many concepts, and understanding how they worked together required more time and effort than I initially expected. The work took substantially more than 28 hours, with much of that time spent trying different approaches, troubleshooting problems. One of the changes I made was removing a glass wall from one of the sides on the ground floor and inluding a wall type 2. The stairs were the most difficult part of the assignment. I successfully created one stair that connected the building from top to bottom. When I tried to repeat the same process for the second stair, I could not achieve the same result. This was particularly frustrating because I expected the steps that worked for the first stair to work again. The second stair remains an unresolved part of my work. Another challenging aspect was understanding the roof assembly and the role of each material layer. I worked through the differences between the structural slab, insulation, waterproofing, and exterior finish. I I could not find the exact material in the chart but I used thickness to get to the desired R value. I also encountered difficulties with how materials appeared in the model. Changing a material did not always produce the visual result I expected, I wanted marble with big slaps not sure the look is the one I am aiming for. The graphics tap was helpful but not really getting the outcome i needed My next steps are to resolve the second stair, and finish the ground floor plan
