I would consider the MEP systems in the building as the blood system in a human body. MEP systems are commonly hidden behind the wall and above the ceiling, but they are vital to make the building function correctly and make everyone inside the building feel comfortable. This is similar to the nerve system in our bodies because they are hidden under our skin but pump the blood to every portion of our body to make sure we are alive. Imagine a building without the MEP system, it would be extremely hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter, maybe there aren’t any oxygen in the building; no one would like to move into the building like that.
