For this practice, I used10x33 steel columns in conjunction with 12x26 beams/beam systems, carefully ensuring that the beam span did not exceed 50 feet. My emphasis was on selecting a grid that seamlessly matched the building's layout. The durability of the structure took precedence, and I opted for steel due to its capacity to provide a sturdy framework, capable of withstanding significant loads and adverse weather conditions, thereby ensuring structural integrity. The consistent arrangement of columns and beams contributes a uniform element to the overall structure. My objective is to craft a long-lasting structure that requires minimal maintenance over time.
