The Broad Museum - Los Angeles
I visited the museum of contemporary art in Los Angeles in 2023, and I personally really enjoyed experiencing this space from start to finish. Immediately even before entering, the exterior of the building is nothing like any building I have ever seen, and I was very impressed with the boundaries that were being pushed on what makes a building a building.

Once inside, the combination of an interior design that felt more like a beehive from a worker bee’s point of view, contemporary art pieces that varied in size and grandeur, and mirrors made me feel much smaller than if I were in any other “normal” building.

All of these invoked in me a sense/feeling similar to being outside in the vast nature (ironic considering it is grossly man-made).
The National Museum of Natural History - Washington D.C.

I visited the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History during my 8th grade DC trip. Visiting this museum was the highlight of my trip, one because I love learning about animals and two because of how the exhibitions were laid out to almost tell a story without using any words or sounds. Intuitively there was a path that you could take and walk through around the museum that takes you through the natural history of the world. I was thoroughly impressed at the thought and engineering that went behind the tailored yet very natural experience of the museum, and that was something that has stuck with me.
