I decided to create a nice simple wood structural system to blend with all of the already existing wood elements. I think the timber beams and columns provide a nice touch to the already existing design. The grid system is pretty straightforward other than some cantilevers I installed over the entrance on Level 0.
There are some hallways that have columns in them, but not many and those that have them are in large spaces so people can easily get by. The spacing is fairly close to 15' spaced evenly. Both stairways have plenty of space to breath in this structural system as there aren't any beams interfering with them. The beams and beam systems go up to directly under the floor (leaving 10" of space between floors). This was made so I could represent a possible drop ceiling that could go nicely with some of the more open spaces.
