The Centre Pompidou and Guggenheim Museum in New York are two museum which I was amazed by when visiting.
- Smart and accessible circulation - they made something out of it and not just placed it there because it had to be.
- Use of color - in opposite ways but both are very intentional. (I believe this is especially important with attracting kids.)
- Memorable and unique - have become landmarks for their cities.
- Offer different types of spaces for different types of artwork (MoMA New York is also especially good at this.)
