Hi! My name is Joy Wang Tham, I am a first year MS Structural Engineering student. I graduated back in 2019 from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.
I am looking forward to this course to gain a foundation and understand of parametric design and optimization within my field. This topic is of particular interest to me as parametric design ties together both of the topics that I studied in undergrad, and getting to explore how these tools lead to optimized building design if something very exciting!
