There were many ways of completing this assignment but this is how I completed mine: I first created a rectangular grid of points using nodes such as integer sliders and coordinates by point, then I attached/placed cylinders on each grid point with a certain radius and height that can be changed to any desired value.

Then, x and y coordinates were inputted to mimic a pebble point on the grid. By using the sine wave function and amplifying factor for the grid, a ripple effect was created. All inputs are changeable either through sliding the bar or inputting a number.

As for the revit geometry, cylinder mass were placed on each grid point and everytime the dynamo file would run (After making any changes), the revit geometry would change and mimic the settings of the dynamo geometry. As a result, the revit geometry was made and is similar to dynamo geometry.
