My intention was to create a shading structure that mimics caves, for that I used a sine function, where I created a cluster that amplifies the sine function and creates an offset from the base height to add more dimension to it. Then I created curves and lofted those using the loft function. Lastly I created a hexagonal shape for my structural system that covered the entirety of the structure. The parameters that can be flexed are the spacing in between curves, the wave amplitude, the base height and the hexagonal structure and pipes used. All dimensions can be changed to create a different level of openness.
