I focused on modeling a basic shelter for sunlight and rain. By following the basic model, the algorithm was simpler than expected, but I learned how important it is to plan the parameters before starting, since that was the main part I remodeled a few times to make it easier. It took me 3 hours to model, but 15 minutes to optimize the size and shape for actually determining the shape.
By adjusting its parameters, it can change its height and width, and the wave shape of its top edge, which would serve as a path for rain.
Constructing this is way too expensive or impossible with the traditional design and construction alignment, so looking forward to improvements in 3D printing construction or learning how to give the modeling further constraints.
