Intro/Read Me

Are you tired of manually sketching sports courts, looking up safety clearance buffer requirements, and recalculating site square footage every time a client asks to change a layout?

COURT-Gen is a parametric space-planning tool built for Revit and Dynamo that automates the early-stage schematic design of recreational facilities. By utilizing dynamic sliders, users can instantly generate an array of regulation-grade Tennis and Pickleball court footprints.

The target users are Civil Engineers and Urban Site Planners

How it works

To run COURT-Gen, all you have to do is upload your court images and play around with the sliders to set your court counts, spacing, and cost per square foot. The script takes those numbers, adds the official regulation safety buffers automatically, and lays out the courts perfectly on your screen. In the end, you get a preview with real court lines mapped right onto the shapes, plus a live dashboard showing your total square footage and estimated price tag on the fly.
