Hi, I’m Masa, 1st year student in CEE SDC program. I have Architecture degree from Waseda University in Japan, 8 years ago though. That was the era of emerging practical use of BIM which I worked on to visualize underground construction planning. Also I remember manually making a cigarette case in Rhino and utilizing Grasshopper to change shape just for fun. I have worked on Japanese GC company since graduation, which actively utilizes BIM for detail design in the construction phase. Looking forward to learning how tools and used developed in this decade, how further optimization went, and the perspective of AI potential.
