Hi everyone, I’m Michaël—I’m a senior studying architectural design and product design and planning on coterming in mechanical engineering.
My industry experience includes 3 internships at architecture firms, 2 of which were single-family residential focused, and the latest of which was at DLR Group last summer, which had a large emphasis on integrated design practice.
I’d like to take this course… well, to be honest, to fulfill a major requirement, but also because I find parametric design to be such a fun/flexible way to work. It’s a fast way to get tons of variations, and it’s a fast way to get geometries that are completely different than you might get through traditional modeling.
My goals for the course are to get better at parametric tools in general, and explore the differences between a Grasshopper vs. Dynamo workflow.
