Stage 1:
Following the guidance from lecture and the examples provided, I exported the building masses to Revit directly and set some of the parameters as permanent. This included the base radius, base rotation, mid height, mid radius, top rotation, and top radius. The parameter that I chose to alter for this part was the top height, which ranged from 500 to 700 ft.
Stage 2:
For this part, the parameter that I chose to alter was the mid height, while setting the other parameters as permanent. The building mass that I chose to create used a rounded triangle profile at the top and bottom of the structure, with a diamond profile at its mid height.
Points to Ponder:
Some advantages of exporting these values to Excel is that analyzing data becomes far easier, as changing inputs and seeing their outputs becomes faster. This increase in efficiency is one of the main benefits.
