- For 2 or More Units: Creating Forms with Revit Conceptual Masses
Part 1: Your flexing and testing one of the provided example building forms
For Stage 1 Part 1, I used a template mass with levels up to 600' and customized the Dynamo definition to report Gross Floor Area, Gross Surface Area and Gross Volume. Varying the Top Height from 400' to 600' and the Mid Rotation from 15° to 45° allowed for multiple form variations. Two key input parameters: "Top Height" and "Mid Rotation."
Part2: Your flexing and testing your new, original building form
In Part 2, I modified the 3-point chevron template by replacing the base, mid, and top profiles with custom profile. I tested combinations of Top Height (650'–700') and Mid Rotation (35°–45°) to maximize floor area, achieving the 2.5–3 million square foot requirement in all but one scenario (650' height and 35° rotation). This process enabled efficient exploration of design options while maintaining performance goals. Two key input parameters: "Top Height" and "Mid Rotation."
