- A few sentences describing your modeling approach for each stage
- A brief description of your design outlining the parameters that can be used to flex and dynamically change your structure
- For this project, I started earlier than normal to really understand the logic from the kickoff and in the videos. I was able to capture a nuanced mistakes regarding flipping the image and dividing the image pixel, which really turned into different ways to model the code. I also included optionality to select which image at the beginning of the code as well as optionality in how to determine the thickness of the panels (brightness or hue). Lastly there is optionality to maintain the picture in it’s original orientation or to flip is across the horizontal axis. The sliders for the wall length in both parts allow for extension and contraction of the wall, which results in an overall rescaling of the wall. Specific to part one, the radius parameter (y-coordinate slider) intentionally includes negative values to flip the arc across the x-axis. This also allows for scaling the project as well.
- I played with some of components, namely the 4-point glazed open panels and the 4-point folded panel that allowed for different look of the wall. The formal resulted in a hollow feeling wall. The latter had odd overall texture to the wall on the face that was oriented to the capture. Each result lead me back to the suggested panel for the assignment, as it allowed the loaded photo to show the best.
