Product  to analyze - [Socks]

Where did they come from?

The material is cotton, and it probably comes from an outsourced county where it is grown and manufactured.

How is it manufactured ?

It is manufactured with the material cotton, and th die and made into cloth im assuming

How is it delivered to you?

In order to get my socks I have retrieved them from the store. To get to the store they are shipped into the country to a warehouse of some sort fro the factory that produfced them after going by plane or ship.

How do you use it?

Socks, so I wear them especially if i am wearing shoes

What behaviors does it encourage ?

Socks encourage the wearing of socks and not having ocold toes. It does necessarily encourage anything sustainable.

What behavior does it discourage ?

It discourages the use of chafing your own feet, or going out open toed .

When its no longer useful to me I can donate it to Goodwill so I can throw them away, although probably not to recycling.

The key product features that promote sustainability are the facts that it can be worn multiple times, even for years on end if you take care of the socks well.

The product features that don’t promote sustainability is the question of what to do with them when you need to throw them away, as it does not seem that they are recyclable.
