Key Findings from the Interview

  • When it comes to sustainability
    • They will be sustainable if the opportunity arises, and everyone else is doing it. Still, it is definitely not a priority. They do not focus on sustainability at home or when they're alone as much. It just doesn't come to their mind.
    • They do care about helping the environment, and they do not want to have an immediate negative impact on the Earth. Despite this, they do not believe that the Earth is in danger, and therefore, see no reason to take extreme measures towards sustainability.
    • They might use sustainable products, like a water bottle, but they do not want to go out and buy things like reusable straws. They do not want to sacrifice too much for sustainability, especially if it impacts the effort it takes to do an action.
  • Any reservations / concerns about sustainability?

They do not believe that the Earth will ever come to the point of endangerment, and they do not trust many of the sustainable movements.
