Creating a Comparison Matrix on a Board
You can use Forma Board to create a visual matrix that compares several proposals and their key analysis results side-by-side.
- Pull each proposal and its analyses onto a Forma Board.
- They can come in as fixed snapshots or as live analysis that updates in real time.
- Arrange the model views and analysis outputs into a row and column layout.
- A common setup is one proposal per row and one analysis type per column.
- Add frames to visually group the content.
- Frames can also become slides in presentation mode, which is useful for design reviews.
What to Include in the Analysis Results Cells
Each results cell of the matrix could contain:
- Key metrics summarized in the Highlights panels for each analysis
- Snapshot images showing visual feedback from the analysis
- Your comments, analysis, or reasoning about how you’re interpreting the result or factoring it into your decision-making
