Forma Building Design allows you to create Options and quickly explore different design alternatives for individual buildings.
This allows you to create multiple variations of the same building, for example:
- alternative floor plan layouts
- varying facades
- different building volumes
You can create as many options as needed. O
Workflow
- Open the 3D View or Top View and select a building on the Canvas.
- Select Options in the Building Detailed section of the properties panel.
- The properies panel displays the name of the currently selected option.
- Click the Option name to show the Options menu, where you can:
- Click + Add new option to add a new option to the list.
- Duplicate an option in the list.
- Delete an option in the list.
