Export a Building Design to Revit

Workflow

  • Select your building in Forma Building Design,
  • Use the Export to Revit tool to export the geometry to Revit 2027.
    • Export the Building Elements geometry, but omit the Toposurface and Generic models from the export.
    • You’ll link to those later in the Revit project.
  • Wait patiently as the exported project is prepared.
  • When the exported project is complete, click the Save button to save the project file on your computer.
