Please spend some time observing peoples’ behaviors relating to disposing of their food, containers, wrappers, utensils, and other waste at specific campus location where food is served and/or eaten. Then share your initial observations in a few paragraphs below…

These are my observations about peoples’ behaviors …

I stayed around 10 minutes observing people in the Y2E2 Coupe. I would say that around 50% of the people I saw, though about for a while where to dispose what they have ordered. I could see mainly two behaviors. One was I believe, the frequent costumer of Coupe that is aware that most of their containers are compostable and new where to place the garbage exactly. The second was the costumer that doubted. Many after reading the package, disposed it quickly in the compostable garbage can and others did not read it and just threw it in the incorrect one. For me this last behavior was a little confusing because I think the “compostable” signs are pretty visible. I like when restaurants make everything compostable because make everything easier. I understand that this might be too expensive for many restaurants.
