These are my observations about peoples’ behaviors …
I stationed myself in front of coupa Y2E2 (just downstairs from class) and noticed that people don’t really know what is compostable vs recyclable vs landfill. People tend to look at the bins for a bit and then look back at the object they are trying to sort and just aimlessly guess where it should go. Oftentimes people’s guesses tended to be correct, but just shows how labeling and access to proper bins needs to be improved. Overall most things ended up in the compost bin, as you can see, but not all is supposed to be composted. Coupa generally does a good job using compostable materials but not ALL of their products are compostable I assume.
