The category that took the the largest share of exhibition center space is 1. Exhibition Spaces, 2. Hallways, 3. Offices. Several assumptions were made, for example, I assumed only 50 employees will need to use offices. So, this space budget estimation may not be solid and accurate, and it may be edited in later design progress.

Levels 5-9 were only planned briefly, the use of each space has not been decided yet. The exhibition center I designed had a complicated structure, and each higher floor was smaller than the lower floors. So, to connect each floor, the stairways were placed in a ‘central area’ where they could vertically reach each layer. Two stairways were designed for each level except level 9, where only one stairway was designed to connect levels 8 and 9. Also, one elevator connected all 9 levels. 3 restrooms were designed on level 1, and levels 2-8 only have 2 restrooms. The women’s restrooms were located on every level, and men’s restrooms and gender-neutral restrooms were designed for every other level. This design considered that women in general need more restrooms than men (Info).
