Important: Before you get started on the installation, contact the Global AEC teaching team (or your class teaching team) for a cloud license Activation Key. You’ll need this for the final step.
- Download the latest version of CSiXRevit using this link:
- Run the downloaded setup file and install CSiXRevit, accepting the defaults.
- Start the Revit application, and click the Always Load button when prompted about whether to load the CSiXRevit plug-in.
- Open your Revit structural model file.
- Open a 3D view containing the structural elements to be shared.
- Open the Add-ins tab > External Tools > Export to Create New ETABS SAFE or SAP2000 Model...
- Enter your User Registration info when prompted:
- Customer ID = leave blank
- Company Name = Stanford University
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Input the Activation Key for a cloud license when prompted.
