Installing the CSiXRevit Plug-In

💡

Important Notes: Based on our testing, it appears that the CSixRevit plug-in nrequires an Intel processor. It will not run on a M-series Macintosh computer running Parallels. Before you get started on the installation, contact the Global AEC teaching team (or your class teaching team) to add your email address to the database of authorized Cloud License users.

Download the 2026 version of CSiXRevit using this link:

Run the installer and select Cloud Sign-in on the License Option screen.

💡

You might have to run the installer twice if Microsoft .NET 8.0.4 Desktop Runtime is not already installed on your computer. The first time, the installer will install the required .NET framework.

Start the Installer

Accept the License Agreement

‣

Enter your Name and Company

‣

Choose the Destination folder on your computer

‣

IMPORTANT: Choose the Cloud Sign-in License Option

Click the Install button
