Changing a Linked Model from a Locally Saved Version to a Cloud Model

To relink a model from the local copy on your desktop  to a cloud version:

  • Open the Manage > Manage Links tool.
  • Select the local linked file in the list.

  • Pull down on the Reload button and you'll find a Reload from... that lets you select a different location.

  • Navigate to the Cloud Location (for example, Project Files > Cloud Models> Arch_Concept1.rvt) for the same model, then click Open.

  • This will replace the prior link with a new one to the Cloud version of the model (which will get all the updates as new versions are synced).
